The HYLDA collection includes cotton fabrics with historical patterns for traditional costume wearers and professionals as well as for all those who appreciate nostalgic patterns and timeless beauty.

For my replica collection, I have mainly selected patterns from aprons and kerchiefs that were worn as accessories to traditional costumes. The originals come from the collections of the Estonian National Museum, the Estonian Open Air Museum, the museums of Pärnu, Saaremaa, Hiiumaa, Kihnu, Ruhnu and Dalarna, and from private collections in Estonia, Sweden and Latvia. The collection is gradually and continuously being expanded.

The unique SINI block print series is based on copy drawings by textile artist Riina Tomberg. The series consists of 30 patterns of printing blocks collected by the Estonian National Museum.

This is where the HYLDA fabric drawer opens.
Welcome to the world of historical patterns!
