Hylda OÜ was established in the spring of 2021 to provide fabrics with historic prints for folkwear enthusiasts, craftsmen and handicraft lovers. The micro-enterprise is focused on the production of replicas of printed cotton fabric items used as part of a folk costume: apron fabrics, kerchiefs, bodice and blouse fabrics, details from other garments, linings, knitting bags. The original items are from museum and private collections. The production of a replica pattern is preceded by an examination of the original item and a study of the collected data. In the creation of replicas, I rely on professional knowledge acquired at the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy and on the advice of folk costume masters and museum specialists.

The fabrics are produced in small batches according to demand, taking into account environmental sustainability. The fabrics are printed using digital printing technology. Printing partners have been carefully chosen from companies in Europe that offer reliable quality and are environmentally responsible in their operations. These companies use sustainable printing technology, OEKO-TEX® 100 compliant textiles and print pigments, and are committed to reducing their ecological footprint throughout their operations.

In addition, Hylda OÜ offers digital copy drafting services, as well as simple sewing services - kerchief hemming, apron sewing etc, and produces its own line of cotton panama tote bags and cotton grocery bags with different patterns.
